A new chapter for the Maritime Quarter.
The National Waterfront Museum combines a restored Grade II listed warehouse with new galleries exploring Wales’s industrial and maritime history. WilkinsonEyre’s project account dates the scheme to 2005 and describes how former railway routes influenced the building and landscape.
Our role in the design team.
The National Museums & Galleries of Wales annual report names McCann & Partners as mechanical and electrical engineers, alongside Wilkinson Eyre Architects, Land Design Studio, Arup and Davis Langdon & Everest.
Recognition.
The architect’s published record lists a RIBA Award, Civic Trust Award and Regeneration Award in 2006.
